The rooftop terrace was lovely for breakfast, which was perfect, and the room was very clean. The windows did a great job keeping out the noise from the busy street. It’s close enough to walk into the city centre, and nearby parking costs €4 for 24 hours, a hard price to beat. There’s a shared lounge, but the rooms themselves feel private. "La Nonna," whose name I don’t know, was exceptionally kind, and we enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast. This family-run place really feels like home. Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night at the end of our Salento holiday, and this was a lovely find. The rooms are new, with a nice bathroom and a big shower, though they aren't especially large. It’s a family-run B&B, and the people here make you feel at home. Breakfast on the terrace looking over the rooftops of Otranto was a real plus. Great location for seeing the city. Thanks so much!

Maria is a real fairy of the house. Thanks to her, the rooms and hotel were perfectly clean, and breakfast was plentiful and beautifully prepared. Simone, the owner, was always attentive, very kind, and professional. You can also arrange boat trips with him. Thank you all for the kindness and professionalism. Maria looks after guests with kindness and discretion, and Simone is always there to help with whatever comes up. The terrace is spacious, bright, and charming, and breakfast is varied and generous. The room is lovely, bright, and fully equipped. Boat trips can also be arranged. Staying at B&B L'ANCORA DEL SUD made for a truly relaxing break, with nothing inconvenient or unpleasant.
