Breakfast was a treat, with plenty of homemade cakes, fresh juice, jams, yoghurt, eggs made in different ways, and typical savory dishes like friselle with freshly cut tomatoes and a drizzle of olive oil. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the historic town, and we felt so well looked after by Marinella, Manila, and Valentina. We spent five nights at Palazzo Marzo in the heart of Otranto. The old palazzo was immaculate, with a private rooftop terrace and patio, and it’s beautifully run by Marinella, Manila, and Valentina. They were attentive, kind, and incredibly courteous, and made our stay unforgettable. The atmosphere was wonderful. Everything was perfect, and we’d happily return and recommend Palazzo Marzo.

The location is fabulous, and the women who run this little B&B took wonderful care of us. The room was dark because the shutters were closed and we couldn’t get them open. We also had trouble with the air conditioner.

I felt right at home here. My room was large and clean, and everything worked. The palazzo itself is spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, with two roof terraces looking over Otranto’s historic center. Breakfast was great and cooked to order.

Breakfast was outstanding, with freshly prepared dishes that changed each day and were brought out when requested. The staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us a parking pass that let us park as long as we liked on nearby streets, and the beach and town sights were all within walking distance. The rooms felt secure, behind a locked courtyard and then a locked room. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The owner was so friendly, and when I had trouble finding a parking space, she got in the car with me to help find a free one. The room was large and very clean. Breakfast was à la carte, with lots to choose from. It’s a short walk to both the beach and the old city center. Just perfect.
