Anna’s a fantastic cook, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Damiano was just as great, patiently recommending places to visit and sharing their history. The pool was fantastic too. Damiano and Anna are extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. It’s a great place for a relaxing holiday, and well positioned for exploring Salento. The farmhouse was spotless, and the rooms were too. Mr. Damiano and Mrs. Anna were incredibly kind and polite, and the food was perfect, with typical local dishes. It was a beautiful, completely relaxing stay. The location also made it easy to reach any destination. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

The two horses, Pablo and Bella, show up and make themselves heard at breakfast, hoping to get food from the guests. They’re a nice touch. The property is well placed in Salento, just a few minutes by car from beautiful beaches and a stunning turquoise sea. Staying with Damiano and Anna feels like visiting friends, and everything comes naturally. Even among the other guests, the atmosphere is pleasant.

The homemade pasta is excellent and very digestible, even in the evening. They make it with their own flours, and you can tell not all pasta is the same! The house appetizer and beef tartare were excellent too. The menu arrives by WhatsApp when you call to book, which was nice, perhaps so guests know what to expect. Service was quick, the value was excellent, and I might have liked a few more desserts. We only had dinner here when we first arrived in the area, but liked the place and, above all, the quality of the ingredients so much that we came back before leaving. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because of small, very subjective things. Silly details, if you like, and they don’t take away from how delicious the dishes are. For example, there was a lot of parsley in the first courses, which may not suit everyone. I’ll be back next year.
