A tucked-away spot, with Sara and Pierre-Paolo looking after us. Sara walked us through the menu really clearly, and Pierre-Paolo did a great job cleaning the fish right at our table.

The setting is nice and the staff are friendly, but I didn’t enjoy the food, especially for the price. The fried calamari were pretty chewy, and the fish at 22€ tasted bland. Low quality for far too much money.

Dinner was fantastic, from the starters and first course through to the main and desserts. The fish was exceptional, and the combinations with local flavors were great. There’s also a varied wine list, with plenty from Apulian wineries and local vineyards. The masseria itself sits in a spectacular spot, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the countryside and sea. The furnishings are thoughtfully chosen and refined. The staff were prompt and kind, and the owner and his son welcomed us warmly, with a real eye for detail. It never felt overly formal, quite the opposite. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in Salento again.

We had a relaxing Sunday lunch, with excellent cooking and a warm, professional staff. The spa atmosphere was top-notch, and the details were carefully considered. Our lunch was in a very private room with a fireplace. The menu was high quality, with gourmet dishes at reasonable prices, and there was a rich choice of wines. We’ll definitely return.
