Masseria Fagà

The owners were very welcoming and spoke French, and the pool was nice. It’s close to Otranto, but the grounds weren’t well maintained, and the old-fashioned accommodation was very basic and less charming than the photos suggested. Hot water was sometimes hard to get, the oven tripped the circuit breaker, and we could hear the neighbors through the thin walls.

The pool was clean, well looked after, and a lovely place to relax. We spent some really pleasant days at the masseria, a quiet little world where time seemed to stand still. Surrounded by wild, untouched nature, it felt like stepping into a novel by Márquez or my beloved Allende. We truly felt at home, and will carry this experience in our hearts. Silvia was lovely, cheerful, friendly, and always available. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and cared for. The apartments were immaculate, carefully maintained, and had every comfort. I also want to thank Silvia's father, a warm and kind man with a genuine smile. He looks after the masseria with such dedication and passion, and you can see that care in every corner.

The owners were incredibly hospitable and kind. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. We spent two weeks in clean, private, well-kept surroundings, with greenery all around and Otranto’s loveliest beaches just 2 km away. The apartments had all the amenities listed in the description. We especially appreciated the always-clean pool, a handy extra when the weather was unpredictable. Highly recommended.

Franco and Silvia made the stay special, and I was glad to meet them. Masseria Fagà is just minutes from the center of beautiful Otranto, with lovely, well-finished apartments that have every comfort. Set in greenery, it felt reassuring and peaceful, and the beautiful pool was a great place to unwind after a hot day at the beach. It was the best place I could have imagined for a wonderful holiday with the people I love.
