Voi Daniela Essentia Hotel

We’re planning to come back. The beautiful town of Otranto is about a 15-minute drive away, while the beach is a short walk through a pine forest, or you can take the Disney-style 'train shuttle' that runs often to a regular timetable. The pool was pristine, and the atmosphere among the guests was relaxed. Most guests were Italian couples and families. Everything was exceptionally clean. Staff were keen to help, and the food was a very high standard, with freshly grilled fish or meat each evening alongside traditional antipasti and pasta. This isn’t the place for people who want chips with every meal. They’re trying to cater for gluten-free diets, but it’s still a work in progress and a bit clunky to get. There’s a simple entertainment program. Excellent.

The beach was lovely and easy to reach, and the rooms were comfortable. There was plenty of tasty food, with a good range to choose from.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff made us feel welcome. They’re warm and so helpful, nothing seemed like too much trouble. A special thanks to Luciana, who was very professional. My one criticism is the restaurant. The queues were terrible, and the food was always cold.

A very family-friendly place, with lots of kids around. The food was really tasty, with both fish and meat options. I’d recommend staying here without hesitation. Thank you!
