The location and pool are great, but the complex feels designed to maximize profits, and the value for money is completely off. We knew it was basic accommodation at a fairly low price, yet the whole place was so uninviting. The pool itself was clean and well-maintained, though there weren’t enough sun umbrellas. Having to wear swimming caps and the pool being closed from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. also took away from our enjoyment. A proper cleaning and a few euros spent on upkeep could go a long way. The property is poorly maintained throughout. The houses and interiors are filthy and run-down, and so are the outdoor showers and the rest of the complex. The flowerpots stayed full of trash and cigarette butts for two weeks. There was grime of some kind on the walls and floors everywhere. The patio furniture was the cheapest available, with no lounge chairs. Right in front of the patio was a filthy patch, so walking barefoot meant tracking dirt everywhere. The trash cans were left open and unsightly on the patio, and ants were everywhere. The kitchen cabinets were disgusting, the drawer handles sticky and rusty, and the swollen edges were gross. The oven looked like it had probably never been cleaned. Bedrooms had empty Red Bull cans, used tissues, and other rubbish, presumably left by several previous guests. Kitchen equipment was practically nonexistent, and there weren’t enough dishes or glasses. In a six-person house, we had to ask for bedding for the fifth person and chairs for the fourth and fifth. That was the least of our problems.

The house was dirty, with no toilet paper or soap, and the toilet seat was nearly falling off. We had to buy those things ourselves. Construction noise began at 8 a.m., and it was noisy at night too because the house had very thin soundproofing. They also require a €200 deposit, tucked away in the terms and conditions, then try to keep some of it under fabricated circumstances. Hidden fees and made-up charges make this a rip-off. Better to pay more for a decent hotel!

The area is quiet, and the port has a good atmosphere. It’s about a seven-minute walk away, not right beside the apartment. The apartment itself is adequate, though there’s room for improvement. Towels and sheets cost extra, and the ones provided were yellowed and had a few holes. Some neighbors were a bit noisy at night.

It says there are 20 reviews, but I can only read 7 of them!? And the score is lower than the average rating of those seven.
