The owners are welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and they find different ways to communicate when you don’t share a language. The apartment is spacious and has lots of kitchen equipment. We only missed a kettle. Fans provided by the owners keep it fairly cool inside, and there are toys outdoors for younger children. Paciano and Panicale are nearby, while Castiglione del Lago is worth a visit too. Perugia is definitely worth seeing, and all these places have beautiful old buildings and incredible views. Amazing location and service. We’d gladly visit a second or third time, or more.

The place was spotless indoors and out, and the pool was always well kept. Elio and Anna Maria, the managers, were discreet and genuinely helpful. Set among the green, peaceful Umbrian hills, it’s very welcoming for families with children. Thanks for such a lovely experience. See you soon.

I first found this lovely place in 2014, a little paradise within reach of the best destinations in Tuscany and Umbria. The apartments are clean and comfortable, the pool is kept in perfect condition, and the property itself is beautifully maintained. Elio and Annamaria are attentive hosts, and the staff are friendly. The kids had a great time, with plenty of room to play outside as well as the pool. They could even pick fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, and other produce from the garden that Anna Maria makes available to guests every day. We stayed for a week in early August at Capanna dei Carri, two families with one child each. Anna Maria was kind from the booking stage and made sure our needs were covered, including an extra bed for the children. We got a lovely welcome on arrival. The house is very cute, exceptionally clean, and has everything you might need. The setting is beautiful and the pool is fabulous. Annamaria, Elio, and Elisa were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a fantastic week, relaxing and full of laughs. I absolutely recommend staying here.
