I picked this place for my vacation. It’s a very old, authentic place where you can have a comfortable stay, and the price for what you get is quite good. There were a few things that needed attention, but the staff said they’d take care of them. They’re friendly and work hard, and there are rabbits, chickens, cats, horses, and dogs for kids to spend time with. I’m Turkish, so I need my kebabs, and luckily they have them here. You’re surrounded by nature, and I’d recommend it. Getting there is a little stressful, though; still, you’re on vacation, so it’s time to relax, right? ;)

We loved having Pioggia the horse and the donkeys as our companions on walks around the area. Spending time with the animals was one of the nicest parts of our stay. The property is a real gem, with rustic, well-kept apartments that made us feel at home right away. Each morning brought a spectacular view of the Umbrian landscape and a made-to-order breakfast. The pool behind the property was a lovely place to cool off and take in the scenery. Manuela’s kindness and helpfulness helped make the stay so memorable, and her passion for the agriturismo comes through in the details. We can’t wait to return to Agriturismo Il Pausillo for another holiday surrounded by nature.

Manuela and Antonio made the stay memorable with their warmth, availability, and friendliness. They’re rare people. Their property feels like a true Agriturismo, with a capital A: an old farmhouse surrounded by greenery and home to many animals. It’s peaceful and far from city noise and traffic, the kind of place where you can live carefree.

Manuela looked after us so well, with thoughtful touches and helpful suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try. The farmhouse is kept beautifully but still feels rustic. In the apartment, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and it was clean. We enjoyed breakfast, too. Outside, the only sounds were leaves rustling and animals, which the kids loved, along with the pool. It’s a special place whether you want to unwind or explore historic villages and natural wonders. We highly recommend it!
