Best Western Plus Net Tower Padova

We arrived late at night with two exhausted toddlers and a dog, but everything went smoothly, including charging the car overnight. The room was spotless, and breakfast was good too.

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it. Our clean, spacious apartment was on the 8th floor and had an exceptional view over the city, especially at night. Breakfast was great too, and my Italian cappuccino was included in the breakfast price. A great 4-star hotel, recommended.

The bed was comfortable, and the room came with a minibar and an electric kettle, plus instant coffee and tea. But the hotel feels run down and due for renovation, and there are no shops or restaurants nearby. Everything costs extra: parking is 5 EUR/day and the breakfast buffet is 10 EUR, though individual items are available. The hair dryer quit after 30 seconds, and the toilet or bidet smelled of urine the whole time. We only needed the room for two nights and were out most of the time, basically just sleeping there. I wouldn't really recommend it.

The staff were kind, helpful, and accommodating, and breakfast had fresh pastries and good coffee. The building has an unusual style, with full glass walls that make the place feel open. Our room had a whole glass wall and lots of light. It was fairly small, but modern and roomy enough to be comfortable; the bathroom was small too, but had enough space for toiletries. I booked five nights for a vacation in Padua. The hotel occupies the first 8 floors of the complex. My problem was the duvet cover, which was 100% polyester, and it made sleep horrible for 3 nights. I spoke with the understanding, apologetic manager just 3 days later. He said an external supplier probably made a mistake. After that, they changed the duvet cover to 100% cotton, and I could finally sleep.
