Tulip Inn Padova

The location worked really well for us: the highway is about two minutes away, Padua’s center is around 15 minutes, and Venice is roughly 45 minutes away. There’s plenty of parking, and the price felt fair. Our room was spacious and clean, with a fairly large bathroom that was mostly clean too. Its door stuck and was a little damaged. The staff were friendly. The mattresses were comfortable, except the one on the extra bed, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The reception staff were very kind and easy to deal with. It’s a very good hotel overall, and being close to the expressway is handy. Thanks!

It’s easy to reach from the highway, and there’s a large, secure parking lot. It can get a bit crowded if you arrive late at night. The receptionist was very pleasant. We found other people’s hair on the shower walls, and the cups provided were plastic. The soundproofing wasn’t great. Since the hotel is in an industrial area beside the highway, trucks and other vehicles could be heard during the night, though it wasn’t very loud.

I was disappointed by breakfast. I got there at 9:15 and paid €10.00 without being told by the attendant that service ended at 9:30. There were no croissants, eggs, or cheese left, and only a few slices of bread, even though about eight other people arrived at the same time. When I asked the woman at the café whether more croissants were coming, she said no because breakfast was nearly over. They had 15 minutes to replenish the bread, but didn’t. I managed to eat just one slice. At 9:29 they started clearing everything away, including the water. I wouldn’t recommend it.
