We only stayed one night while passing through, but I could easily have stayed longer. It’s a lovely place with lovely people, plenty of room, and it’s dog friendly. There’s also land nearby where you can take a walk.

We booked through Booking for seven people across two rooms, and the stay left us disappointed. The rooms felt cold and damp, and there was no hot water at first, though we managed to sort that out. The fridge had been switched off, with melted ice inside, which wasn’t helpful when travelling with a family and wanting to keep something cold. The lady who was supposed to welcome us wasn’t there when we arrived. I wouldn’t recommend it.

For the price, it was good value. The rooms are spacious and charming, with bathrooms attached, and they’re on the ground floor. The place is near the highway exit, in a quiet area without much to it. We just stopped for the night before continuing back to Sicily. There’s no hairdryer, and dogs were waiting for us when we arrived.

The rooms stay so cool that I slept under a blanket in late July 😅, and there’s heating for winter. Each room has a shower bathroom, plenty of terrycloth towels and its own fridge; guests can also use the shared kitchen. There are four rooms, named for the seasons, and the owners live upstairs and are readily available. Parking is ample and getting there is easy. It’s especially convenient by the Padula highway exit if you’re heading south from the north toward Sicily or Calabria, a good place to pause overnight and recharge before carrying on.
