A few spider webs in the house, but it has the potential to become one of Tuscany's prettiest homes. The road to the property needs asphalt.

We had a lovely time here in such peaceful surroundings. Federica and Lucca, the owners, were incredibly friendly.

The pool was a real bonus: well cared for, with sun and shade, and suitable for children. Our holiday home had spacious rooms with an old-fashioned feel. It was simple but had everything we needed, and the hospitality came with plenty of privacy, just as we liked it. Pisa, Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano are all within about an hour's drive. Closer by, Palaia has La Chicca, where the coffee and ice cream are delicious. The area is quiet, though the mosquitoes were a downside in the warm, humid weather. We were seven adults and four children, aged 0, 1, 2, and 3. We'd gladly make the trip again to enjoy the Tuscan countryside and hospitality.

A lovely holiday home in a beautiful setting. The large country house has an outbuilding, plus a smaller apartment in the same building with its own entrance. Together they sleep 12, with 3+1 bedrooms, 2+1 bathrooms, and two kitchens. There's ample parking, though you reach the property by an unpaved gravel road. Outside, there's a spacious pool, 1.3 meters deep, and a covered terrace with a large, sturdy canopy, table, and benches. The owners clean the pool daily. We did notice quite a few mosquitoes and the occasional flea from the two yard cats.
