We all loved our stay at Baia. The setting is gorgeous, with beautiful scenery, beaches, watersports, and three very clean pools included at no extra cost. There are nearby local markets too. The shop on site was well stocked, the restaurant was always open for food and drinks, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Most spoke excellent English, which made things much easier for us. Our chalet looked almost new and was set apart from the camping pitches, which suited us. The shower was hot and everything was clean and tidy. Nikolas was a wonderful host and went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. We were there for a family sun holiday in Sardinia, staying at homair eurocamp in the baia Holiday park. The only downside was that there was no oven, just a hob and microwave. You’ll want to rent a car to explore, as there’s no public transport. Thanks, Baia, and a huge thanks to Nikolas ❤️

The pizza at the restaurant was really good quality and a fair price, so we ate there twice. Our camper-van pitch was a good size, with electricity included, and we parked right by the beach. There’s a shop on site with fairly reasonable prices, which was a first for us on this trip. The campsite has two beaches, though one is less nice, and a choice of lovely new pools. The toilet facilities near our pitch were new and always clean. We’d definitely come back 🌻

The toilet blocks were among the best I’ve used, and there are plenty of them. This is a large, resort-style campsite in pleasant surroundings with its own beach and a full range of facilities, including a pool, restaurant, and pizzeria. Chalets sit near the entrance, while the camping area is farther in and feels less corporate. The pitches by the water or right beside the sea are quite cramped, as you’d expect. We stayed in the pleasant area reserved for ASCI card holders.

We’ve travelled across Europe for the last 10 years and stayed at countless campsites, and this one is in our top five. The location is amazing, the facilities were clean and well maintained, and the staff were great. We came over from the UK with our caravan. I’m sure we’ll return.

The beach was the only part we liked. It’s fairly nice, bigger than most campground beaches, with a long stretch of shallow water, though it was busy with kids and families and wasn’t quite what we wanted. We felt used and betrayed by the end. The staff were friendly only while we had no complaints, and their replies to reviews sound like apologies that blame the guest for feeling upset. We won’t stay at a Baia holiday campground again. Maybe choosing a spot on arrival instead of booking ahead would have helped, but the prices and the categories for assigning pitches still make no sense. We booked ahead and were assigned terrible pitches without discussion. The explanation was that advance bookings go through a booking center and they couldn’t change anything. They then offered either a downgrade with no refund or an upgrade for extra money. We paid for the upgrade because these were our last nights on the island and we didn’t want to face a fence. With the extra fees, it came to more than 200€ for three nights, two adults, and one small car, with no tent. As students, that was upsetting, and it took up the biggest part of our holiday budget. It wasn’t worth it. The site itself had plenty of problems: old, dirty bathrooms, too few for a campground this size, and more than a 10-minute walk to them from some pitches. One of the two bathroom buildings is mixed male and female, while the other is even farther away. Toilets share stalls with showers, so they’re always wet. WiFi costs extra even at reception, and a lot extra. E-bike rental is 12€ for four hours. The market is way overpriced, much more than the small markup you’d expect at a campground. Some spots stink badly, even after our upgrade to paradise plus. We liked our pitch less than ones at other campgrounds that cost less than half as much, partly because there was no privacy and the smell of poop and pee was awful. The routes to the pitches were also hard to drive, with big holes and rain ruts. It’s a 10-minute drive to Palau, the nearest city, so the location wasn’t great. Reception were super unfriendly. While we were explaining that the pitch shown in the photos wasn’t acceptable for the price, they spoke Italian to each other as if we didn’t understand. They said things like they didn’t get the problem, and it was clear they didn’t want to help. It felt like they couldn’t care less once they already had our money.
