The room was put right by the pool, although we'd booked one in the hotel. It was filthy and worn, with cracked, dirty walls, hair on the bed, and a strange smell. The air conditioning was very loud and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. The bathroom window had no curtains, so people by the pool could see in, especially at night. Music carried on until midnight, and we could hear every word from people walking past. There was no Wi-Fi either. We complained twice, but nothing was done. The website only shows pictures of rooms in the hotel, so I wonder why it leaves out the other rooms. What they charge for this is a joke. This is more like a hostel than a four-star hotel, and easily the worst hotel I've stayed in. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Housekeeping was good, and there is some parking. That's about the only positive I can think of. Last year we booked at the last minute and got a nice, quiet room, so we planned a full holiday here this year. Big mistake. They put us in a separate building far from the hotel, with windows facing the very noisy pool. At night the entertainment kept us awake, and in the morning there were kids, quite rightly, playing by the pool. The curtains didn't cover the full window doors and barely darkened the room, so sleeping or resting was impossible. The room was very dated, the beds uncomfortable and old, and the floor was broken. We were also far from breakfast. They were very rude about my husband's dietary needs. We were left to check whether the breakfast area happened to have anything he could eat, and each time we had to go into town to get him breakfast because there was nothing. Martina at reception was extremely rude when we arrived. I was shocked by her attitude, and we also saw other reception staff make no real effort to help customers. I don't know if management changed since last year, but we definitely won't return. My family lives locally, and I often help friends from the UK plan Sardinia holidays since I grew up here. I'll be telling people to avoid this place. It's our worst experience in Palau so far.

We paid €1,000 for five nights, and the hotel wouldn't give us a refund even after the room problem. Booking.com eventually helped: once we called them, things that the manager had called impossible suddenly became possible within five minutes, and we got some money back. The bathroom didn't work for us: I had to fix the wobbly toilet seat and shower drain myself, and the toilet was so high that a short person's feet wouldn't reach the floor. Nobody among the staff or managers would help. The reception managers on July 12-13, 2025 wouldn't give their names. Breakfast wasn't fresh and the pool was disgusting. The location wasn't good either. The buildings nearby looked like 1970s military bunkers turned into apartments, though we loved other parts of Sardinia. The hotel felt like it hadn't been renovated since the 70s, and everything was old and dirty. Who decided this place deserves four stars? Club Esse Possada, you are a disgusting joke. Thanks.

Run-down furniture, stained walls, and rooms that smelled of mould, with water damage and poor hygiene. There was blood on the room vanity and human waste smeared on the public toilet door. The place is nowhere near the beach, despite the impression given, and the staff were rude, almost all of them. Have Google Translate ready and listening. This was a next-level scam. It needs demolition and a complete staff replacement.
