Tata-o Family Spa & Resort

The spa facilities and peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. We chose this place for the Italian F1 race and were glad we did: although it’s farther from Milano, driving took significantly less time and there was much less traffic. It also worked well for getting to the lakes and Bergamo. The young, energetic team went out of their way to help, with outstanding attention to detail. And the food deserves a mention: the chef’s versions of classic local dishes were delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. It felt on par with Michelin restaurants, without the prices or attitude.

We had to leave the next day to fly home, so unfortunately we only got one night here. The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the hotel and facilities were very nice. I’d recommend it to anyone spending a few days in the Bergamo area.

The garden and the spacious terraces were lovely, with flowers, plants, and trees all carefully looked after, and beautiful views of the natural surroundings. This small hotel is on a hill just outside town, away from the noise. There’s plenty to choose from in the well-equipped spa and wellness center, including pools, steam baths, saunas, places to relax and meditate, and sunbathing terraces. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always available, and Maurizio really impressed us. My husband and I also had massages and cosmetic treatments. Daniela is phenomenal at her work and puts so much dedication into it. We’d happily come back and warmly recommend a stay.

We spent a long weekend getting away from the city. The property is a very nice four-star place in a village near Bergamo, quiet and away from the mainstream areas. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything. It’s a good spot to relax by the pool or get a massage. Nothing fancy or luxurious.
