Tenuta Aganis

We spent five days and four nights here as a base for exploring the region. The property is peaceful and very well organized. The front desk was accommodating with our late arrivals and gave us useful suggestions for places to eat nearby. Our apartment was extremely clean and carefully arranged, with a fully equipped kitchen where we could cook if we wanted. We spent a lot of time in the pool, and the mornings were quiet except for the birds. The surrounding green scenery was calming. Breakfast was excellent, with a good spread and attentive service. They made fresh omelettes just the way we liked them. There was ample parking both inside and outside the property, and electric car charging was available on request. The elevator made it easier to get luggage to the upper floors and would also help anyone with mobility constraints. Air conditioning was very effective during the hot days. The mosquito screens on the windows do impede the breeze a bit, so we appreciated being able to control the room temperature with the air conditioning. The property is rustic, close to the highways, and not far from shopping. There are several eateries nearby, and I was lucky enough to spot deer and birds around the property. The woman at the front desk wrote down restaurant options for us; later, staff also helped arrange electric parking and pool towels. The property is very comfortable and well organized, and I'd highly recommend it to families visiting the area. We intend to return. It's an ideal base for a couple of days exploring Venice, enjoying local food, or heading to the sea, around a 30-40 minute drive away. We tried a few seafood restaurants and followed the front desk's suggestions, and the food was great.
