Katia made my first trip to Sicily amazing. She's lively, warm, and treats you like a friend, not just someone staying at her hotel. She gave us ideas for things to see and do, and was always happy to help. The place was great, and I already know where I'll stay if I come back to Palermo. Booking the right place matters, and I can't recommend this one enough. Katia, I miss your laugh already!

The room was clean and practical, with a big bed, and breakfast had a choice of options. Check-in times were accommodating, and we really enjoyed our stay. Katia was one of the best hosts we've met: friendly, easy to talk to, and happy to work around our needs. She explained everything at check-in and went over a map of Palermo with us. The property is within walking distance of the city center, with shops and restaurants nearby, and a train station close by for trips to different places, including the airport. We highly recommend it.

Getting around this part of Sicily was easy, since the train and bus are both very close. Katya was kind and helpful with everything we needed, a perfect host. We had a really nice stay and would happily recommend this lovely place.

The hotel was clean and pretty much as expected, and the people were super nice. The woman at the desk spoke English very well, though staff leave at noon and return the next day. I came from New York to see friends and family and take care of business, and this central location made it easy to reach all parts of Palermo. I later realized a nearby train goes straight to the airport. Ask for a street-facing room if you'd enjoy watching the morning traffic along via terasanta. It has the feel of an improvised but orderly bit of theatre, and seems to be the only time anyone's in a hurry. One complaint: for a country so attentive to America, Italian eateries could learn from American restaurants about keeping bathrooms sanitary. What's going on there?
