Right in the old town, but still quiet. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the price was great for what we got. We had a really good stay and would absolutely recommend this place in Palermo.

Once you're inside, it's a good setup, although finding the entrance can be tricky. There's a lot of space, including a sitting room, and the room was clean, with air conditioning, TV and cable. The large bed was actually two smaller beds pushed together, as in many places in Europe. They accept credit cards but seem to strongly prefer cash. For the price, it's a great package overall.

The owner is really sweet, and the room was very nice and spacious. Ai Cartari is tucked away and hard to find, but it's quiet and close to everything. You also get your own exit, and check-in and check-out times are flexible.

The owner is very nice, but for that price the room fell well short of what I'd expect. There were practically no amenities, and the shower was so small it felt claustrophobic.
