We booked two rooms for ourselves and our grandson. The accommodation was poorly kept, and getting around by car was a real problem. Nobody had warned us that the two-way streets were so narrow they seemed barely suited to one-way traffic, let alone two-way traffic. The air conditioning wasn’t running when we arrived, and no one at the hotel was there to explain it. We called and were told the owner’s father would come by in about half an hour. He showed us how it worked, though he didn’t speak English. Even then, it couldn’t cool the very large space across two extremely large rooms. On the second night, the unit in our grandson’s room stopped working altogether, and he had an uncomfortable night trying to sleep on the roof. Again, we couldn’t reach anyone. My wife also left behind a sweatshirt that meant a great deal to her personally. We contacted the property repeatedly and offered to pay the recovery costs in advance. They confirmed they’d found it, then stopped replying despite our follow-up messages.

The family running this charming B&B really go out of their way to make your holiday lovely. The rooms are very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, with excellent coffee. It’s centrally placed for the main sights, with plenty of restaurants nearby and the sea not far away.

Our room was fantastic and huge, with an entrance, a first room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and two balconies. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace, with coffee in the sun, was a great start to the day. The managers were the friendliest B&B hosts we’ve met and gave us lots of good advice about Palermo and the surrounding area. The location is close to lively nightlife, yet the small street stays quiet. Such a good price, too. We couldn’t ask for more.

We had a great stay in this B&B’s three-room accommodation. The price felt very fair, and the spot in the middle of the old city is excellent. Parking can be hard to find in Palermo’s tiny streets, so I’d ask about a space in front of the building.

The family were lovely, and everything was superb from the minute we arrived. My elderly parents came with me and were looked after so well. The food and roof terrace were fantastic. Thank you all, and I hope we’ll see you again. ♥️
