I booked a room for three nights, but my husband became very sick that day and we had to go to the emergency room. We asked for a refund because of this unexpected situation and messaged the owner twice, but got no response. I won’t book this B&B again, and neither should you if you don’t want to risk losing your money.

The location made getting around easy: it’s 150 metres from the bus stop for the airport-to-city route and a five-minute walk from Teatro Massimo and the start of Via Maqueda. From there, the pedestrian area gives access to the historic centre, which you can explore on foot. The property is brand new and has every comfort. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and breakfast was good. Calogero was genuinely helpful and knowledgeable, and made us feel at home.

Calogero and the rest of the staff were courteous, 10/10. Breakfast was good quality, well made, and Italian. The rooms smelled good and were tidied every day, and the B&B itself is newly and completely renovated inside a historic building. It’s right in the centre, about a five-minute walk from Teatro Massimo. My partner, child, and I had a great time. Excellent value for money, and if I’m back in Palermo I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

Calogero and Giusy were very kind and courteous, and made us feel at home while we were on holiday. They were happy to offer useful advice about what to see in the city and how to get around it, which we really appreciated. The B&B is centrally located, with modern, clean, well-equipped rooms. My one small suggestion for Calogero, meant as encouragement rather than criticism, is to offer a wider range of breakfast choices. That’s the only flaw in an otherwise five-star B&B.
