B&B Ai Tintori

Our room at Ai Tintori had a balcony, which was a nice place to sit with a glass of wine. The room was clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is fantastic. The hostess was charming and kind, and gave us all the information we needed for our time in Palermo. I’d happily come back!

Valentina and Paola gave us useful tips on places to visit and restaurants during our ten-day stay, while we took day trips around Sicily. We were able to use their fully equipped kitchen and the laundry. Breakfast at Lucca bar across the road was fine. Our room was spacious enough for two, clean, and had the amenities we needed. The lovely staff cleaned it and left fresh towels each day. We were very pleased with our choice, had a great stay, and would recommend the place when visiting Palermo. It’s in a great location too.

The evening location is a real highlight, right in one of Palermo’s best areas to spend time. Three restaurants from our guidebooks were under 100 metres away, with plenty of other places to eat and good bars nearby. We first stayed here years ago, soon after it opened, and returned in August 2020 because we’d liked it so much. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was large, clean, and air-conditioned.

We had such a good time staying here. The hosts deserve a special mention: the women were cheerful, flexible, professional, and incredibly kind and helpful. Their English was better than anyone else’s on the island, as far as we could tell. Elsa gets 2.5 of my 5 stars! The place itself was stylish, spacious, comfortable, clean, well equipped, and great value, in a very good location.
