B&B Alla Stazione

The hosts were really kind, and check-in was super easy. My room was clean and quiet, and the bus station is close by, so this is a great choice if you need to stay near it.

Parking is available, though it's best to check ahead; otherwise, street parking is free and was fine. We were in the “new door” room, with three adults, and found it very comfortable. It has its own bathroom, and there's a shared kitchen with a refrigerator where breakfast is served. The bus terminal is right next door, and the city center is about a 15-minute walk. It was generally quiet, but one neighbor was noisy, especially with the TV on at all hours of the night.

There are lots of places to eat and have coffee nearby, plus plenty of shopping, and I could walk to the historic center and everything else I wanted to see. The B&B Alla Stazione is also close to the train station. I stayed 11 nights and was very happy with my room. They clean the rooms and change the towels every three days, which was enough for me. Breakfast was typical Sicilian, with snacks and a water dispenser available anytime, as well as two specialty coffees a day from the vending machine. The rooms are quite noisy, probably because of the building itself. Thanks very much, and all the best. :)

The breakfasts were well organized, and the place could work if you don't need to wash during a three-night stay. But our room was never cleaned and the towels weren't changed, even though we left a note asking for fresh towels. The shower was leaking from every side; I asked for it to be fixed on the first day and attached a photo. We also weren't left a receipt. If you need to shower, pay later and ask for a receipt, and maybe they'll take more care with the cleaning.
