The staff were wonderful and so helpful, and the garden is lovely. It’s a small boutique property in a quiet area, with lots of restaurants an easy walk away. They only serve breakfast, and the location makes it simple to get around on foot: about 10-15 minutes to the historic center and 7-10 minutes to the waterfront. If you’re driving, the hotel is inside the restricted zone, so you need a daily permit for Euro 5.

We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel arranged a cake for us. We enjoyed it by the pool in the sunshine with prosecco after a day of sightseeing. Alex, Paolo, and Wilfried were especially lovely, with a warmth and genuine hospitality that made the stay feel special. The garden is a peaceful, leafy spot tucked behind the plain-looking entrance, and the hotel feels more like a family home than a standard hotel, while still being calm, polished, and professionally run. It’s about a 10-minute walk to both the central station and the historic center and its sights. There are several great restaurants nearby, and the staff are happy to suggest places based on what you like. We spent three nights here last weekend and had a wonderful time.

We were five friends visiting Palermo and had such a good time at this lovely little hotel. The garden was our favorite, a botanical-feeling oasis full of plants where we could relax together. It’s also very handy for getting to the main sights. We’d happily come back and would recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

The pool and lounge areas made a peaceful little retreat in the city, and the rooms were really comfortable with great bathroom amenities. The hotel is well located, too. The staff were especially kind and accommodating when we arrived as part of our honeymoon, and we had a great stay.

Alex and Paolo were especially helpful, going out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. The service was fantastic, the rooms were comfortable, and the location made it easy to get to lots of places. We had a lovely stay at Bastione Spasimo and would gladly return.
