We really enjoyed our two nights here. The owner was lovely and helpful, even pointing out some bars, and everything is within walking distance. The apartment has a nice balcony looking over the marina, though the road outside gets busy. It stayed quiet enough until around 6am, so bring earplugs if traffic bothers you. The kitchen and dining area are shared with one other room, but we had it to ourselves and wouldn't consider that a problem. Breakfast was nice, with rolls, biscuits, juice and more. And the coffee was the best I've ever had.

Roberto was so kind. Even though our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night, he met us and got everything ready, including breakfast. The fridge was always stocked with fruit and snacks. The location is fantastic too, near the port with great views, and just around the corner from lovely bars and restaurants. It was still really quiet.

We had a great time at Bed ala Cala, right in the city center. Roberto made check-in easy and suggested good restaurants and places to see in Palermo. The breakfast fell short of what we expected. Also, watch out when sitting on the balcony, there are mushrooms growing from the ceiling.

The front room had a lovely view, and the location is perfect for morning or evening walks around Palermo. But the breakfast was very poor: they left supplies for us from the first day through the last. The air conditioner took a long time to cool the room, and there wasn't one in the shared area. The host also didn't speak English, so even basic communication was difficult.
