The room was quiet at night, even with the hotel right in the centre, and the beds were comfortable enough. My first-floor twin room was spacious and seemed to be an accessible room, with two bathrooms: one large one with a walk-in shower, plus a smaller but still adequate one. It was clean, though basic and a little dated. The building itself is a bit of a maze, which gives it some character. The location is hard to beat for a first visit, with major sights and restaurants close by. Staff were friendly whenever I saw them, and check-in was a pleasure. You use old-fashioned physical keys on a heavy fob to get into the rooms. There was a stocked minibar, bottled water, and a kettle. The air-conditioning worked well. There was a small TV, but it was hard to see from either bed, and there wasn’t another comfortable place to sit. I didn’t try the food or bar during my stay. For the location and value, I’d stay again and recommend it.

The rooms are plain, but clean and comfortable. The hotel has an older, classic feel, which I liked, and the staff were helpful. It’s an easy walk to everything, though I believe it’s inside a ZTL zone, so keep that in mind. The keys are bulky, but you can leave them with staff when you go out. The rooms aren’t very soundproof, either. I’d stay again.

The shower could use an update: water pressure was low and the temperature kept changing. I also found the room lighting too white and would have preferred something warmer. It’s an older hotel in a good location, with nice decor and lots of little details around the place. You still leave your key at reception. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the small fitness room was functional. The rooms were clean.

Breakfast felt like an occasion, with lovely chandeliers, good food, and a pleasant room to sit in. The hotel itself is spectacular, and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. It’s right in the lively centre of Palermo. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The location was good, but that was about it for me. The rooms were tiny and dated, and there were lots of bugs in the bathroom at night. Construction noise started waking us at 7am every day, with banging and power tools. The hotel still put guests in rooms directly beneath the work. Watch your bill for charges for things you didn’t use, like breakfast or extra nights of parking. The lobby and restaurant look nice in the photos, but the rest of the hotel doesn’t come close to those two areas.
