I only learned when I arrived that the hotel was being renovated. My room reservation had been confirmed, and Booking still shows rooms available, which is misleading and unacceptable. A complete disappointment. I don't recommend this hotel.

The bathroom had a strange smell and the drain wouldn't work at all. We called staff, and when he came he said everything was fine, but the water still wouldn't drain. We asked for a refund or a different room, but were told they were full and couldn't give our money back. Nothing worked properly. This was the worst hotel experience I've had, and I wouldn't recommend this place even to my enemy.

The location was good and the staff were friendly. Our room was cleaned every day, and the bathroom was clean, but the water often stopped working. We had to fill the waste bin with water to flush the toilet. The family room itself was old and dirty, and on entering it felt like a hostel, with bunk beds and an extra single bed. There was barely any space to walk and no bedside cabinets. It had only one ceiling light, while the sockets were blocked by the beds, making phone charging difficult. There was a mini fridge, but nowhere to put it or plug it in, and the wardrobe was very old and damaged. I was really disappointed and wouldn't stay there again. The location was good if you aren't expecting much from the room.

Everything was nice for us apart from the noise from Via Roma. The staff were warm and friendly, and the cleaning team kept our room spotless each day. We liked the central location and found it a convenient base for exploring Palermo. Reading the reviews, I do wonder if we stayed at the same hotel as some of those guests.
