The staff were kind and friendly, and the area outside the hotel was pleasant and clean. But the room, especially the bathroom, needs a full renovation. There was disgusting mold and limescale on the shower and sink. The room was very dark, and we had the squeakiest, worst bed we’ve ever had. Far too expensive for what you get.

The service was outstanding, and the pizza was among the best I’ve ever had. Its dough ferments for 72h + and comes out so light that, even with my gluten intolerance, I could eat it without feeling really bloated.

Never again. After the second day, I gave up on the horrible breakfast and started eating elsewhere. The room wasn’t serviced if you left at 11:00, and after a few days I had to buy toilet paper myself. I also brought someone to the room for a couple of hours, and they demanded extra payment. When I wouldn’t pay, they wouldn’t let me leave. They kept me inside the property until I paid. Ridiculous. I hope this is just a problem with this hotel. It wasn’t the Palermo welcome I expected.

The restaurant’s pizza is amazing, and there’s a great lunch place nearby with really good gelato. The staff were very accommodating. It’s a great spot if you want to be within a short walk of Mondello beach.

Way overpriced. This wasn’t one of our better hotel stays.
