The location was superb, and we really enjoyed the residence’s feel. The apartment’s timber construction and upstairs bedroom gave it a slightly rural but elegant look, while the courtyard balcony felt like a private little treat. There was plenty of coffee ready for us to make in the mornings. The floors could have been swept more carefully. I’m not especially meticulous, but when you’re paying for a place, you expect a bit more attention. Since we stayed several nights, we needed fresh sheets, but couldn’t find any. When we asked, they tried to charge us an extra 30 euros. It was an otherwise really pleasant visit, so that would have made a big difference.

Everything was spotless when we arrived, and the owner was extremely kind and helpful. We stayed nine nights at a very fair price in this brand-new apartment, which had every comfort and was ready for us less than 12 hours after we were welcomed. The location is on one of Palermo’s most elegant historic streets, steps from two supermarkets and a short walk to the train station and historic center. The building is small and well used, but the apartment is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen and living room have a sofa bed, TV, and little terrace with a table, drying rack, and useful drain. Upstairs, the mezzanine sleeping area is spacious, bright, and has two air conditioners. The windows are new on both levels. Highly recommended!
