Mauro made the place feel very personal. He's kind, refined, and widely cultured, and was always glad to talk about Palermo's history, share anecdotes, suggest places to eat and visit, and explain how to get around. That familiar atmosphere made our holiday feel much closer to the spirit of Palermo than a hotel where guests barely speak to one another. The B&B is clean and quiet, in a well-kept historic building on a pedestrian street. Its location is excellent for the center, main streets, and restaurants, and we slept well every night. Breakfast is simple but delicious, with fantastic croissants, fresh fruit, and more. Outside those hours there are herbal teas, cookies, muesli, and mineral water. For the price, which is very good for Palermo, I think it has few rivals, especially if the human side of a trip matters to you.

We spent a whole week at this BnB and would like to come again. The room was tidy and very clean. The bed was made daily, and every other day the room got a full clean and fresh towels. Breakfast was plentiful each morning, with extra toppings and fruit offered by our host. He really helped make the stay so enjoyable, always pleasant to talk to and ready to help. His tips for Palermo and the surrounding area were great. We can highly recommend the place.

Not a troll, I stayed there in July. Palermo was the wrong choice for us, and this place had terrible service, dirty sheets, and a lot of noise.

A really lovely place, in a perfect location, with a very kind host.

The airport shuttle stop was only a 2-3 minute walk away, which was useful. We stayed with friends at the end of September, and the B&B was right in the center, in an area that's easy to explore on foot and full of restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. The owner was friendly and available with helpful tips for seeing the city.
