La Maison ai Quattro Canti

Monia was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and always helpful. She shared lots of tips for Palermo and other parts of Sicily, left maps and suggestions for places to visit, and let us know about interesting events each day. She also helped us park near the apartment and when it was time to leave Palermo. Her renovated, stylish old house is a quiet oasis in the historic center. The apartment was lovely, spacious, tastefully furnished, and perfectly clean, with a great location and all we needed for a comfortable stay. There were bed linens and towels, plenty of toiletries, and even umbrellas for rain or the beach. Monia clearly pays attention to the details. The kitchen had dishes, a coffee machine, two kettles, salt, sugar, spices, and olive oil. She also provided juice, coffee capsules, tea, and local biscuits. Breakfast on the small, charming balcony was a treat. Monia’s place went beyond what we expected.
