The apartment was spotless, with a well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, and two balconies. We also had great communication with the host. The little lift is quirky, and the neighborhood is lively, with trams, the metro, and buses close by. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, and pizzerias are within walking distance.

The bathroom was my favorite part. The room was tiny but cute, and there were small shops nearby. The man was nice, but he couldn't speak English, so it was hard to communicate. We had to buy toilet paper because there was only one roll, and there was no dish soap for washing my dishes.

The room itself was clean, and the bathroom was nice, but the stay had some unpleasant surprises. The air conditioning was broken and it was unbearably hot. The elevator wasn't working, and opening the window brought in bad smells, so there was no ventilation. Trash cans were kept in the stairwell. The website photo showed a kitchen, but we only got a bedroom with a bathroom. There was also an extra €30 cleaning charge.

The window looked out onto a wall and an air conditioner that roared like an old tractor around the clock. Compared with other hotels, this place has cold water and could be cleaner.

The setting was pleasant, and the location was great for the reasonable price. It also felt noticeably more upscale, with real care taken to understand guests and treat each person as an individual. A truly worthwhile experience.
