The owners were so kind and helpful, and I’ve already suggested the apartment to friends heading to Sicily. It’s a lovely place in Palermo’s historic center, thoughtfully furnished with all the comforts, including air conditioning, kitchen appliances, and a smart TV.

Right in a central part of Palermo, this newly renovated place has been cared for down to the details. The owners were very kind and always helpful. A perfect base for a vacation here.

The apartment is roomy, clean, and quiet, and the location is decent. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the center, and parking nearby is easy if you have a car. The key and power setup caused a real problem for our group. There was only one set of keys, and taking it out cuts the electricity, so anyone staying behind is left without power. That made it impossible for friends to go out separately. We also had a leaking air conditioner. We reported water running down the wall and pooling on the floor the day after we arrived, but it wasn’t repaired for the entire week. Since it was midsummer in Sicily, some of us couldn’t sleep in that room and had to use the living room instead. The management company, Wonderful Italy, refused to refund us. I got the impression they already knew about the fault and either couldn’t or wouldn’t fix it. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment if you might need help with a more serious issue.

Just a few steps from Piazza Castelnuovo and its beautiful theater, and close to the city center. This period apartment is immaculately clean and very carefully maintained. Highly recommended.
