We rented the whole villa for a February weekend, and the gated grounds gave us room to park four cars with space for more. The beds were fine and the house was clean. Since it was off season, it felt cold when we arrived, but we got it sorted that first evening with Alessandro’s video instructions. Hot water never came through in one apartment, though we let that go since the others had it. We ate together in one apartment and made that work using the fridges in two units. There could have been more plates, cutlery, glasses, and cooking knives. The light switches and outlets seemed linked in odd groups, so switching off a bedside lamp also cut power to our phone chargers. Once you figure out how it’s wired, you’ll be fine. WiFi was good downstairs, but very weak on the first floor.

We stayed in apartment 10 and had plenty of privacy. The garden is huge, and we weren't disturbed, though the house does have some humidity. The beds were comfortable, and the WiFi and appliances worked well. It’s a very large villa made up of several fully equipped apartments. We used private transport to get around Palermo, and you can walk down to the beach.

There were 23 of us, and we all thought the place was fantastic. It was really clean and had plenty of air-conditioning.
