We had such a great vacation here! Breakfast was served every morning, and we were even given complimentary champagne. The sauna and bath were really nice, too. The hotel is close to the city center. If you want somewhere cozy and romantic, this is a lovely choice.

My wife and I had a super romantic stay at Nuar suite and spa. The suite was spotless and everything felt brand new. The hot tub was lovely and spacious enough for two. There’s a sauna as well. It’s a little small for two people, but since it’s meant for couples, that made it feel cozy.

The hot tub and sauna both worked, but they couldn’t make up for the rest of the problems. The room seemed welcoming at first, then we noticed dust, poor cleaning, and a bad smell. The bed was the worst part: the mattress was uncomfortable and had damp patches, and the sheets were wet and smelled bad. We couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep. Other basics were missing or didn’t work. The TV remote had no batteries, the internet was down for our entire stay, and the air conditioning wouldn’t blow warm air, so the room was uncomfortable. There was one coffee capsule, and it didn’t even fit the machine. The prosecco that came with the stay was barely enough for a glass. Staff were hard to reach and not helpful when we needed them. For what we paid, I expected much better comfort and upkeep. There may be potential here, but I wouldn’t recommend it with the management as it is.

The room looked striking when we first entered, with its lighting and colors, and it had the bathtub and infrared sauna shown in the description. But it’s on the ground floor, tucked in a corner beside the apartment building’s water pump room. There was already a slight unpleasant smell even though the window was open. The noise was a constant problem. An autoclave beside the entrance started up about every minute, and there’s no extractor fan in the bedroom to help with the bathtub’s humidity. The air conditioning couldn’t heat the room even on its highest setting, so opening the window would only have made it colder. Netflix wouldn’t start a movie, and the capsule coffee machine had no capsules. We found just one 500 ml bottle of water, though a small bottle of sparkling wine was included. The cleanliness was awful: the bed smelled bad, the drawers were dirty and had hair in them, and the sagging mattress had a dark stain and hair on it. The space behind the sauna seemed to be used to store linen, presumably dirty. After I messaged the property contact, all I got was an offer of home delivery and a refund of the tourist tax I’d paid. Having a hot tub and sauna doesn’t make this suitable accommodation. With such high prices, whoever runs it needs to rethink how they’re operating and bring the place up to the quality being advertised. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It was a nightmare.

The neighborhood wasn’t the best, though the location made it fairly easy to get to the center. We stayed one night, and it was awful. The room itself was pretty and cozy, but that was about the only good part. There were hairs in the sink and jacuzzi, and the jacuzzi was dirty with some black substance. The bedside tables were dusty, the shower was covered in limescale, and the coffee machine was dirty with a used capsule still inside. We found three capsules that didn’t fit the machine, which felt like a way to save money. They also provided one glass of prosecco instead of two. When I called right away to report the problems and oversights, I was just told to enjoy the room. There was no real willingness to help. After that stay, I can only say that even if this were the only place to stay in Palermo, I wouldn’t consider it.
