Valentina really made our visit special. She was so lovely and pointed us toward the best places to go. The room was clean and very nice too, and the whole atmosphere made our time in Palermo even better.

I liked it so much that I extended my stay. The hostel was tidy, with the whole place cleaned each morning, and the beds were new and clean with privacy curtains. It’s also very well placed for walking to nightlife, cafes, restaurants, historic sights and parks. The host gave great tips for cannoli, dinner and street food, which made exploring Palermo even better. Getting to and from the airport was easy by bus, and the staff communicated well and looked after me throughout my visit. Ostello Vucciria was a great place to stay.

Right in the heart of the old town, above a bar, so there’s nighttime noise, but that’s expected with such a great location. It’s a good pick if you want to be near everything and soak up the city atmosphere. The beds are thoughtfully designed for privacy, and the bathrooms and toilets were clean. There’s also a spacious kitchen and living area with everything you need.

A wonderful place right in the heart of the old town. Valeria is an amazing host. The new capsule-style dorm beds come with big lockers, and there’s a huge bathroom with roomy showers. If you’re in Palermo, do yourself a favour and stay here.
