Palazzo delle Logge

Claudia was very helpful on Whatsapp when we needed to get into the apartment complex, even though we never met her. We stayed seven nights in the deluxe room at the Palazzo Delle Logge. The communal kitchen and living room had pastries, tea and coffee. Our room looked impressive, with plenty of space, a balcony and a modern bathroom, and Claudia offered to have it cleaned twice during our stay, despite the booking saying it wouldn’t be cleaned. I did have a couple of issues. The fitted sheet was too small and came off every night, so we’d wake up lying on the mattress. I found that unsanitary, and think a larger sheet and mattress protector are needed. The apartment is in a great tourist area, but it was noisy at night, including on weekdays, so I’d bring earplugs or a noise machine. Also, while we were sitting on the balcony in broad daylight, we had a clear view of a man urinating in the street below. There’s a sign asking people not to do this, but it’s ignored, and it wasn’t pleasant to see. Even with those flaws, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Quiet and clean, with restaurants, markets, street food and La cala all around. The bus station for trips to and from the airport is only a five-minute walk away. A really good experience.

Really nice place to stay during Palermo Marathon weekend.

Claudia’s Palermo suggestions were spot-on for our four days there. The place is close to everything but tucked into a quiet, safe-feeling neighborhood. My room was cozy and very clean, and it worked well for remote work. The kitchen had everything I needed, and Claudia and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful. I’d happily recommend it to solo travelers, LGBTQ+ guests, couples, and families.
