Palazzo Galati

Gabriele even called me at seven in the morning when I was worried about missing my flight. He was incredibly helpful, and I owe him a beer when I return. The apartment itself is compact, modern, and well equipped, set in an old building right in central Palermo. Step outside and the city is all around you, with shops like those on Via della Spiga or Montenapoleone in Milan and Via Condotti in Rome. The people I met in Palermo were incredibly welcoming and kind. A huge bowl of gelato at the nearby gelateria costs three euros per table, and the bus stop a few steps away has a six-euro airport ride. Such a positive stay. I’ll be back.

With two rooms and a bathroom, the apartment worked well for our family of four. It’s right across from the Teatro Massimo, and having parking on site is especially handy in this part of town. Alessandro was attentive and very kind, and his recommendations were excellent. We could enjoy the center and walk around even late at night. Highly recommended.

That parking inside the building is a real plus, especially with the apartment right in the center, facing the Teatro Massimo. The manager was kind and available for questions or anything we needed. The room’s interior is nice, though nothing special, and it was comfortable enough. There’s a washing machine, plus a fridge, microwave, and kitchen. Definitely worth considering.
