Palazzo Santa Cecilia

We found our ideal place for future visits to Palermo and highly recommend it. I booked at the last minute for May 26-27, when Palermo was packed and every accommodation seemed full. I didn’t ask many questions first, but the stay was a real surprise. The small apartment was clean and had generous, well-laid-out spaces, so it would also be comfortable for a longer visit with the option to cook for yourself. The location is very central, making it easy to explore the city on foot, with restaurants and grocery shops downstairs or around the corner. The owners were incredibly helpful: they saved us a parking spot under the house by leaving their own vehicle there until we arrived, and left a bottle of prosecco and small bottles of water in the fridge as a welcome. They were flexible about check-in and check-out, and even let us stay until late afternoon on departure day so we could enjoy more of the city. Breakfast was arranged at an exceptional bar. There are also coffee pods and a machine at the house, plus sachets for hot drinks. Excellent value for money.
