Palermo Central Apartment

The only way to reach the rooms was by lift. My husband avoids lifts, so he had to go through the adjoining building and use its stairs while I took the lift and unlocked the connecting door for him. The hotel-side door to those stairs stayed locked because they joined another hotel. That was a real hassle. We spent four days here a few months ago. The staff were friendly, but the rooms and the hotel felt old, breakfast was very basic, and it was the same leftover cakes each day. We started getting coffee at nearby bars instead. There was no WiFi. We were told it was temporarily down and technicians were coming, but the owners never brought it up again, so it seemed as if WiFi wasn't provided at all. For the price, we expected much better service and quality. We booked because the reviews looked good, much to our disappointment. Unless you find a cheap rate, I wouldn't consider staying here.

The suite was clean and comfortable, and the customer service was excellent. Looking forward to breakfast.

The staff are great, though the lift feels a little dodgy.

It's right in the city center, and not bad overall. Parking is very expensive.
