My wife and I have stayed at Palermo Central Holiday for two weeks over Christmas in 2019, then for a month in February 2020 to get away from the New Jersey winter. We've already booked six weeks for next winter. We've found it a great place for both short and long visits, and the photos and amenities listed by the host matched what was there. A lot of care has gone into making the stay comfortable. The apartment is roomy, nicely decorated, fully equipped, and in a quiet, upscale residential area. Via della Libertà is just steps away, with Prada, Hermès, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and other major fashion names. The Politeama is only two blocks away, a busy transport hub, and the airport bus stops there in front of Prada. There are plenty of bakeries and cafes in the neighborhood, plus a McDonald's three blocks away. You can find taxis and many bus lines at the Politeama, including routes around the city and to the airport. Buses to the train station, Stazione Céntrale, are frequent and clearly marked. The host is especially accommodating and usually replies to emails within minutes. I've had a lot of personal experience staying here, and we highly recommend it.

We could walk to all the major historic sights from this apartment, and it's close to shops, a grocery store, restaurants, and public transport. The owner was quick to answer our messages throughout the stay and, after showing us around, explained the main sights and how to get to them. There are also books about Palermo in the apartment. The separate bedroom and living area with a small kitchenette were spotless and nicely furnished. The kitchen had a fridge, Nespresso machine, cooktop, dishes, silverware, and what we needed to cook. The owner had also left snacks, bottled water, and coffee capsules, a thoughtful touch. When we arrived from the airport, he met us at the bus stop and helped us reach the apartment. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend it, and would happily return.

The owner was so friendly and helpful. The apartment was large, clean, and had all the comforts. It's right in the city center, about a ten-minute walk from the town center.

Parking can be tricky in a central location, but our host found one of the few free spots before we arrived and kept it for us with his own car. The small apartment had everything we needed, including working Wi-Fi, good air conditioning, cleanliness, and a central location. I've traveled around Sicily for two weeks and haven't had another host look after guests as well as Vito. When my wife arrived with a toothache, he arranged a Sunday appointment and even took us there on his motorcycle. Absolutely fantastic!
