The apartment shares a building with a major renovation site next door. They were rebuilding the adjacent building from top to bottom, and construction was just getting started, so it could continue for a long time. Except on weekends, drilling woke us every day at 7:30, right behind the apartment wall. It was so loud the walls shook, and we measured more than 100 dB. We had to rush out each morning because the noise was unbearable, and we couldn't use the apartment. We called Wonderful Italy many times for help, but they refused to move us. In the end, they gave us a 12% discount for everything we went through. Our holiday was ruined. It was a nightmare, and I don't recommend renting this apartment.

There's plenty of space and privacy in this affordable apartment for four. The two bedrooms each have a bathroom and are separated by a large area, with a living room and kitchen as well. It was quiet, with no nearby construction, and a 10-minute walk to the city center. The kitchen was well equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The only small gripe was a dirty shower floor, though that happens when guests don't wipe it down. A great place for the price.
