The pool was a big hit with our kids, and we slept well since the street was fairly quiet, by Palermo standards. We stayed at B&B Porta Carolina in Nov 2023, and the room, though a little dated, was clean and comfortable, with everything working properly. Roberta was a wonderful hostess. She arranged an early breakfast and a taxi for us when we had to catch a flight. The spot is central, on a very local street where neighbors chat across balconies while hanging laundry. A few doors away, there’s a nice bakery with great bread, pizzas, and other treats. We’d highly recommend staying here.

The pool is the standout, especially after a hot night out in Palermo. The rooms are nice, and there’s a shared kitchen. You’re on a lively street, with the historic centre just a short walk away. A great place to stay in Palermo!

We’re already looking forward to coming back. The welcome was warm from the very start, and the hospitality was lovely. The beds were great, and the old house has plenty of charm. Our room was very clean, breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and we got great tips. Downtown is right outside the door. Thanks for such a nice stay.

The host was attentive and friendly, and the rooms are spacious and quiet. They’re in the piano nobile of an old palace, in what feels like a genuine neighbourhood. The centre is still just a very short walk away. If you’re after an authentic stay, this is the place.

Beatrice and stephie were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely, simple, and delicious, with typical Italian food. The place also has amazing historical features.
