Real Umberto Apartments by Wonderful Italy

We enjoyed sitting on the shared balcony facing the inner courtyard, having breakfast in the morning sun. The apartment is on a pedestrian back street, quiet for Palermo, and close to cafés, restaurants, and one of the main tourist streets. There’s a Carrefour across the road if you want to cook. We stayed for three nights in the large room at the end of October 2020, and thought it was a great deal for the price. Alessandro got in touch by email and WhatsApp before we arrived to ask when we'd get in, and offered an airport transfer. We took it and would recommend it. He met us at the apartment and offered to help with anything we might need. His son brought fresh croissants, or cornetti, each morning. There was also a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, kettle, bread, cookies, jam, coffee, and milk. Our room was clean and spacious. The air conditioning also worked as heating, which was handy when the nights turned chilly. We were pleased with the stay and would definitely recommend it.
