I stayed last night at one of the Reale Orleans apartments on Via Dotto in Palermo, and wow, I hope I can come back and feel at home again. It was a good-sized place with a large bedroom, living room, well-equipped kitchen with various appliances, and a generous bathroom. There were two air conditioners, which made things much more comfortable in the heat. Everything was clean, tidy, and tastefully furnished, and the price was truly affordable. Mr. Mario was extremely kind and helpful. Thank you, Mr. Mauro.

The supermarket is only 150 meters away, and the city center takes just over five minutes to reach. The apartment is beautiful and thoughtfully furnished, with spacious air-conditioned bedrooms. The bathroom and kitchen also have air conditioning, and the kitchen is well set up for breakfast and dinner. Couldn’t ask for more.

The beds were comfortable for our one-night stay, both the double bed and the sofa bed, which was a one-and-a-half-person size. The thing that impressed me most was how clean everything was, and I can tell you that isn’t something you can take for granted. Mauro was present, attentive, and available. The apartment was great for the price, though a few things need attention: the shower pipes all seem to leak a little, there was only one toilet roll for four people, which felt a bit short, and the toilet brush should be replaced. I’m sure Mauro would have sorted the toilet paper right away if I’d raised it with him. If you’re reading this, ask about a parking spot, since they can provide one if you request it early, and that’s essential in any city. I’ll contact them again for sure when I’m back in Palermo.

The room wasn’t bad and had a lot of amenities, but the bathroom needs updating. The showerhead was held on with tape, so it couldn’t be used. The place also needs a better clean: the rooms were dirty and smelled bad, and the landing was poorly lit. The area is just a few steps from the historic center, but it felt unwelcoming and was especially dirty. I’m mentioning that honestly, though it isn’t the property’s fault. Mauro was courteous and let us leave our luggage there, since we were leaving in the afternoon. But a review should reflect the whole stay, not just one kind gesture. I won’t post Mauro’s private reply, which objected to my honest “6”; it had already been blocked once because of the “sweet threats” in it. So, be careful about giving an honest opinion! 😅
