The apartments were clean and roomy, much better than a small hotel room. The spot is quiet but still close to public transport, a park and a supermarket. There were a few little drawbacks, but the kind staff and charming place made them easy to forgive.

The property had cockroaches, droppings and mold. It was unsanitary and unhealthy to stay there, and when I asked for a refund, the host wasn’t cooperative at all.

There are plenty of shops, cafes and pizzerias all around, and Notarbartolo train station is just a five-minute walk away. The apartment was quiet, clean, comfortable and quite spacious.

My couple of days there turned out to be a really lovely stay.

The host greeted us with wine and plenty of useful ideas for exploring Palermo. The apartment was comfortable, well cared for, and handy for Notarbartolo station. We were there just one night, but had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend it.
