Villaggio Camping Odissea

The entertainment team were skilled and worked hard right up to closing, without getting in the way. Even the water aerobics was taken seriously, not treated as just a bit of fun. Many of the accommodations are newly built and in excellent condition, and the location, views, and sea are wonderful. One thing to know: unless you pay extra, you have to leave by 10:30, and you can't ride your bike. I also wasn't keen on the restaurant for either breakfast or dinner. The selection and quality were limited, and items ran out without being replenished, sometimes after just a few minutes.

The beach setup was well organized, with roomy umbrellas, and the rooms were clean with fresh linen each day. We chose full board for a week at Odissea Village and had a truly lovely stay. The chef deserves another congratulations for the excellent food, and the dining room staff were so friendly and kind. I would have enjoyed more evenings organized for adults. Still, it was a wonderful experience.

The beach was a drawback for us: it has sand and pebbles, and the clear water gets deep quickly, so it may not suit small children or people who can't swim. The large umbrellas do give you more space and privacy. We had a pleasant stay and thought the value for money was good, though I probably wouldn't return because of some restrictions and the beach. At Villaggio Camping Odissea in Marina di Camerota, the cabins were clean, practical, and well organized, and the staff were helpful, kind, and professional. The place is small but tidy, clean, well managed, and set up with the main services just a few steps away: concierge, bar, supermarket, pizzeria, restaurant, beach, and entertainment area. Its location is convenient for Marina di Camerota and nearby villages. The facilities were in good condition. The pizza was excellent; the entertainment was low-key, even if it wasn't intrusive. You can only drive to your cottage when arriving or leaving, with no exceptions, and bikes aren't allowed inside the village. There's plenty of parking. WiFi worked well at the bar but was poor or unavailable elsewhere, and needs improvement.

The recently built glamorous tent I stayed in was perfect. This small, cozy camping village is right on beautiful Mingardo beach, with gorgeous sea, white sand, and pebbles along the shore. I think September makes it quieter and more pleasant. It's a wonderful spot for enjoying nature.
