Falco In Pietra

The hosts were super friendly and even arranged a boat trip for us to Punta Bianca. The place has a nice pool and is close to the beach, with Valle dei Templi Argigrento nearby too. Definitely recommended!

The ocean view is beautiful, and the setting is very peaceful. But the room, bathroom, terrace, and garden were dirty and in poor shape when I arrived, and the cleanliness needs a lot of work. I stayed for a week and the room was never cleaned. The sheets weren't changed once, and neither towels nor toilet paper were restocked. There was nobody on site, and even figuring out how to get water was a mystery. The owner who welcomed me was rude and unhelpful, and left no contact details for anyone.

The owners' hospitality and professionalism really add to the appeal, and we can't wait to return. Falco in Pietra is a beautiful, peaceful place that I'd gladly recommend for a comfortable Sicilian holiday between Licata and Agrigento. Set on the edge of town, between Palma di M.'s historic center and the Marina di Palma seafront, the villa has a tidy garden and handy parking. The panoramic terrace is lovely for breakfast with a sea view in the morning or evening, and the pool is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Our room was spotless and spacious. The bathroom could use updating, though, and the shower wasn't very comfortable.

Manager Samuelo recognized that the place was in poor condition and said we'd get a full refund, but Booking.com still hasn't processed it. That's why I'm leaving this review. I'll remove the rating once this is resolved. We chose the most expensive cottage, yet it was dirty, as was the pool. The patio that had been promised wasn't there, just one plastic chair. Breakfast was included but never happened, with an odd explanation about rain and us being the only guests. Our stay was downright bad. At the end of the season the accommodation seemed badly neglected, and facilities that were promised were missing. I'd avoid visiting then.
