The bathroom felt dark without a window, and the doors were noisy and didn’t shut properly. The apartment is close to the center, but the building is very old, dated, and hasn’t been renovated. The door next to ours led to a space used by different people, and the noise from there was annoying. A lot needs improving to make a stay here more pleasant.

Appartamento City is a convenient base for exploring the area, though Palmi isn’t Calabria’s prettiest spot. It’s no luxury stay and there’s no terrace or other vacation-rental feel, but the place was spotless, with comfortable beds, working WiFi, and air conditioning. Parking on nearby streets was easy.
