The farmhouse is in a great spot in Palombara Sabina, quiet and surrounded by lush greenery and olive trees. The pool is lovely, with a table, chairs, umbrellas, deckchairs, and sun loungers. There’s also a handy elevator for luggage. On the second floor, the kitchen is comfortable and well equipped with pots, pans, cups, and glasses. The stairs up to the kitchen and bedrooms are inconvenient, though, with very high steps that feel dangerous and tiring. There’s a spacious living room with sofas and a TV, plus a terrace for breakfast or outdoor meals. A billiards room is downstairs. Upstairs are four bedrooms that, in my opinion, could use some updating. They have single beds and are poorly furnished, so they’re uncomfortable for couples. Some rooms have no mirrors, bedside tables, or keys, and the doors don’t lock properly. These things could be improved with very little expense. There are two bathrooms. One is very small, and its faulty key makes it hard to lock. The bathroom smells like sewage, although the layout is quite nice. I’d recommend the property for a weekend or a longer stay with friends.
